overview
scrc provides tissue, blood and urine sample collection, storage and analytical services in accordance with the ich-gcp and ethics guidelines. these specimens will form a foundation of a bio-bank with an ultimate goal of facilitating translational medicine research and leverage the research power by bridging clinical practices and basic research.

the construction of the bio-bank is supported by shanghai government. scrc has already cooperated with 15 leading hospitals, universities and research institutes in shanghai, and will be the third party to provide a total solution in bio-bank construction, including:
1. establish technical specifications and sop with international standards
2. bio-bank information management
3. a qc/qa system
4. long-term training
5. improve storage and usage clinical research samples and facilitate translational medicine research.
