        wang xingpeng, director of shanghai shenkang hospital development center visited central laboratory on the morning of 26 october 2018. the delegation was received and accompanied by bao bingzhang, secretary of district commission, yan bo, vice governor of xuhui district, and the leaders of science commission of the district, fenglin group and scrc.

        central laboratory’ director gan rongxing introduced to the visiting leaders the construction and development of the laboratory, and elaborated on the conduction and progression of the intensive service project by the central laboratory since july 2018. the leaders at the district level indicated that since xuhui district boasted of the endowed resources and historical heritage in developing healthcare industry, it had been following the requirements about building shanghai science and technology innovation center and making shanghai a first-class medical center under the“5 x”pattern of healthcare and treatment service industry. it would make great efforts to promote development of healthcare industry. particularly in the respect of clinical research and innovation, they hoped to coordinate with shenkang hospital development center and siic to build a platform for medical clinical science and technology innovation in shanghai, and contribute to r&d of clinical science and technology, and transition and application of research achievements both in shanghai and all over the country. in addition, director wang xingpeng pointed out that shenkang hospital development center hoped to conduct close cooperation with xuhui district on clinical public service platform, transition of clinical research achievements, and sharing of clinical resources of various hospitals, investigate the construction of cooperative mechanism, specify the cooperative measures, and jointly elevate the upgrading of clinical research in shanghai and impel healthcare industrial development.
